Backing, Restarting & Schooling
Do you have a young horse and want to start their ridden career?
Dont have the experience, knowledge, time or facilities to start them yourself?
With plenty of experience backing and schooling horses from all walks of life and with a variety of behavioural issues, your horse will get the 5 star treatment and care that we provide to all the horses we work with.
Normally, horses will come to us for their backing/schooling experience which can last from between 4-12 weeks depending on the issues we're tackling and the results you're hoping to achieve. The yard is set in beautiful countryside and is fully equipped with all your horse could need - large stables, well kept fields and paddocks, good hay and bedding, a rubber surfaced outdoor school and lots of lovely off road hacking. Transport to and from the yard can be arranged on your behalf. If however, you would prefer this work to be done at your yard, this can be arranged on an individual basis depending on location etc.
It can take from 4-12 weeks depending on the horse and your own requirements when they come to us to be backed/schooled.
Prices start from £100 pw which includes livery, feed, hay and bedding, daily turnout and 5 days a week training. You will be kept updated throughout your horses stay with us and we encourage owners to visit and see how there horse is progressing.
